CISP I training- MCI Regional Centre Jorhat Medical College shines at the National level.
The First Report of the Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP-I) has been published by the Board of Governors in supersession of the Medical Council of India. The CISP training was a National Faculty Development Program rolled out for training and enabling the faculty across all medical colleges of the country in implementing the Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) Curriculum.
As per the 2019 report, RC Jorhat conducted a total of 32 numbers of CISP trainings- 8 CISP trainings at the centre and 24 trainings at the allocated colleges which was the maximum number of trainings conducted among the Regional Centres. A total of 692 faculties were trained at the College level which is the highest among all the MCI Regional Centres of the country.

- 2 days Sensitization to Reforms in Medical Education was held on 16-17 May 2019 for Registrars and Demonstrators of JMC.
- The First State Level advocacy meeting on Curriculum Implementation Support Program was held at RC JMC on 8th May 2019 under the aegis of Director of Medical Education, Assam. It was attended by Principals of all the Medical Colleges of Assam under the chairmanship of DME, Assam.

CISP II training 2020- Overcoming challenges due to the pandemic.
The CISP II- the second version of the Curriculum Implementation Support Program was rolled out by Academic Cell to implement the new curriculum targeting the second phase of the MBBS course. Due to the COVID pandemic situation, the training program was conducted in two phases- initial online training from RC JMC for faculty of affiliated colleges followed by onsite training at the college level which was observed online by nominated observer from RC JMC.
